Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com recently announced the winners of its "Best Family Cars of 2016" awards, and we were excited to see that Honda models claimed victory in every category in which they were considered. According to a recent press release from Honda, Accord, Civic, HR-V, CR-V, Pilot, and Odyssey were all recognized for their unmatched ability to meet the needs of families.
While making final decisions, editors compared models based on family-friendly factors such as safety, spaciousness, cargo capacity, comfort, and technology. This year, editors also included information about how front and rear-facing child safety seats fit into each model. Honda vehicles earned top spots in the Sedan, Two-Row Crossover/SUV, Minivan and Three-Row Crossover/SUV segments, giving Honda a clean sweep and making it the most recognized brand in KBB.com's assessment for 2016.
"This recognition by the experts at Kelley Blue Book of six of our core models is affirmation that Honda has the best possible choices for families of any size," said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of sales, Honda Division at American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
Honda is the only automaker to win recognition in each category.
