2019 Honda Passport Interior and Cargo

Passenger capacity in the upcoming 2019 Honda Passport is limited to five people, but that means incredible cargo room in the way back, and up to 78 cubic feet of interior storage space with the second row folded. This may be the most versatile Honda SUV in terms of overall interior usability.

Size and Style

Do you remember the Honda Passport from the 90s? It was a land-lumbering, hefty SUV with a lot of character, but not a ton of cushion. It was discontinued almost two decades ago--but the name didn't die. We're excited to introduce the all-new, completely redesigned 2019 Honda Passport. The model is revamped in every way from the old style, and shows everything that Honda has been working on. It's larger than the Honda CR-V, but smaller than the Honda Pilot.

2019 Honda Passport Specs and Powertrain

Standard power for the upcoming 2019 Honda Passport will come from a 280-horsepower 3.5-liter engine, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. This is the same setup that you'll find in the recent Honda Pilot, but tuned specifically for this new SUV. All-Wheel Drive is available.

Tech Features and Safety Systems

This may be the most well-connected Honda SUV in the lineup, offering available mobile hotspot features to give you the internet speed you need, and a wireless charging port to keep your phone juiced-up in any situation. Amenities like an optional 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto sweeten the deal. A standard Honda Sensing suite offers Road Departure Mitigation System, Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Collision Mitigation Braking System.
