Two Honda Vehicles Earn Praise for Their Impact on Environment

Recently, The 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid and the 2017 Honda CR-V received honors from the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), as both vehicles earning praise for how they affect our environment.

The 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid earned its spot on the "Greenest Vehicles of 2017" list due to it being one of the most environmentally-responsible 2017 model year vehicles available, as well as for ranking among the top 1.3 percent of all vehicles.

The 2017 Honda CR-V (1.5-liter FWD) was named to the "Greener Choices 2017" list by virtue of ranking among the top 11 percent of all vehicles rated.

Vehicles that qualify for the "Greener Choices 2017" list are restricted to widely available gas-powered cars and light trucks with automatic transmissions, highlighting the wide availability of environmentally-responsible vehicles in many segments of the market. Vehicles are ranked based on an analysis of their entire life-cycle, from the vehicle's manufacturing process to its driving environmental impact and end-of-life recycling.
