Dedicated Student Envisions Honda S2000 of the Future

During its ten year lifespan, the Honda S2000 sold an impressive 112,000 units across the globe. For those who don't remember the auto, it was a highly attractive machine with a sports car body and handling like no other. While some industry experts have whispered about a possible successor to the S2000, nothing is currently in the works...at least by Honda.
Showing his true dedication to new Honda vehicles, design student Michael Mcgee imagined up a fantastic auto that he sees as the next Honda S2000. Of course, Mcgee didn't just visualize the revived sports car, he actually made a miniature-scale model.
Of his concept, the creator says, "My design is classic and advanced simultaneously."1 Specifically, Mcgee's Honda S2000 concept takes the classic notion of a sports car and adds a touch of modern flair. Bolder than the original, it combines the familiar front engine RWD shape with futuristic lines. The body sides function as large doors while the exterior is painted in a sharp yellow hue.
Will Michael Mcgee's S2000 concept make it to production? Not likely. But the enthusiasts' passion for excellent Honda autos has sparked quite a bit of inspiration amongst industry experts such as those at Honda of Concord.
