Hi Mr. Purser, I recently purchased a car from your dealership after shopping at 6 other Honda, Toyota and VW dealers. In the past 25 years I have avoided purchasing cars from the frontline sales force.....I have dealt with the dealership owner, the general manager, the fleet manager and, in two cases, from the G'boro and Statesville auctions(through a dealer connection). Busch bumps, Stewart wins – 2/15/09

But if he had, he could have expected the same on the final lap of Saturday's Camping World 300. Busch's attempt to bump-and-run didn't work on Friday, and it didn't work during the Nationwide Series season-opener at the Daytona International Speedway. The sale started with Dentis Shaw and his Manager. Excellent people to deal with. I received every little quirky thing that I asked for from the missing screw in the fairing, plugs for the license bracket, owners manual, touch up paint, locking lug nut key etc. to the hard top. Nothing was too much to ask.

When I was dealing with the financing portion of the purchase I was very well served by Troy Fitch. He took the initiative to find me the best financing deal available and I am very grateful.

In the Service Department I dealt with Danny Blackwelder. I have never received the positive type of attention from anyone at any other dealership in the many years that I have been purchasing Nissans and Toyotas. Danny always followed up with me and coordinated my service according to my time schedule. He provided outstanding service with a positive attitude and much initiative. Danny is a great attribute along with the rest of your fine team.

Bottom line is that I am very pleased and impressed with my experience at Honda of Concord.

Tony Stewart to drive Nationwide car for Hendrick!

Two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart will drive to qualify the No. 80 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet built by Hendrick Motorsports for the Feb. 14 Nationwide Series race at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. Stewart is the defending winner of the Camping World 300. He has won the season-opening event three times. Mission

The Matthews Alive! Festival is a Labor Day weekend celebration dedicated to the support of local non-profit organizations through music, arts and community involvement.


What Is This Festival?

The festival is a grand four-day family event. Expect to see more than 150 arts and crafts vendors, 30 food vendors, one of the largest parades in the Southeast, the festival’s annual quilt show and the Kids Connection interactive area, as well as a fantastic Midway full of games and rides for all ages and 4 Stages of free entertainment all weekend.

Why Have Matthews Alive!?

The festival exists to provide a venue for nonprofit organizations to raise funds for their groups, who do everything from collecting trash and operating game booths, to participating in the parade on Saturday. Since 1993, Matthews Alive! is proud to have been able to contribute hundreds of thousands of dollars back into the Matthews area.
